Yep. You guessed it -Gramps just can't get the whole sunni-shia Al-Qaeda thing straight:

Petraeus: It is senator, as you saw on the chart. The area of operation of Al Qaeda has been greatly reduced in terms of controlling areas they controlled as little as a year and a half ago.

How will we know when we've won in Iraq?

Every party line bloviation from the cheerleaders insists that we're working toward something, and every voice supporting our continued occupation says that we can leave when we've won. Ok then, how will we know?
